Chris Boggess
Project Architect
Chris brings over a decade of diverse design experience to his role as Project Architect at BHA, blending a background in product design with a passion for architectural innovation. Originally from Chicago, Chris made the leap to sunny Florida in 2016, driven by job opportunities and family connections—though he still misses the snow (ask him about the 18-foot snowman he once built!).
Chris’s journey into architecture began with a spark of creativity and a bold project at age eight: building an underground treehouse. That inventive streak eventually led to earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture from Southern Illinois University. Today, Chris channels his creative energy and problem-solving skills into crafting a industry projects and fostering client relationships.
More than just a designer, Chris thrives on mentorship, equipping those around him for success, whether through guiding colleagues or leading the men’s group at his church. A man of many hobbies, Chris has worn hats as a semi-professional cyclist, security trainer, and marathon runner, but his favorite role is being a dad to Hope and Hannah Joy.
At BHA, Chris is committed to building not just spaces but also teams, helping others grow and excel. His philosophy? “Maximize the season of life you’re in, and go all out with what you’re doing.”
A little more: If he could design anything, it would be underground spaces. (Treehouses may have been just the beginning!)
