Brian sawyer

Brian leads BHA with over 30 years of architectural expertise and a dedication to fostering collaboration and personal growth. Originally from Brentwood, Tennessee, he discovered his passion for design early, inspired by his father’s background in engineering. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture and Planning from the University of Tennessee, Brian’s career brought him to Jacksonville, where he embraced a wide range of projects, including public-sector developments and meaningful designs like Chets Creek Church.

At BHA, Brian oversees the firm’s business operations, development strategies, and project execution while prioritizing a positive, collaborative workplace culture. Known for his humility and focus on inclusivity, he thrives on mentoring his team, helping them grow, and ensuring their talents are recognized.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys golfing, restoring collectible cars, and tackling home renovations with his signature hands-on approach.
