New Readiness Center and Support Facilities for the Florida Army National Guard. Readiness Center includes offices, classrooms, personnel support areas as well as a central drill hall/ assembly hall space with kitchen. Hardened structure and UFC require that stand-off distances provide blast resistance required by government agencies. Hurricane resistant construction throughout the exterior envelope increases building sustainability.
Energy efficient design and low maintenance materials used throughout ensure overall building longevity and reduced operating costs. The facility is designed and engineered to follow green building practices set forth by USGBC.

A maintenance building with three maintenance training bays provides support for the military owned vehicles (MOV’s) stationed at the facility. An unheated storage building allows ready storage in support of unit personnel and vehicles located therein.
Full site development of the 20+ area site includes both POV and secured MOV parking areas. Hazardous and flammable storage buildings are located at the facility as well as generator power to serve the Readiness Center during emergency events. Finally, fence protection control fencing is planned at the frontage of the property to increase anti-terrorism measures.
